Introducing the latest sneaker in our collection. Working with one of the best factories in Portugal for sneaker production, these have been over a year in development — from the sketch to coming off the production line this summer.

Navy and white is a sneaker palette that has never needed reinventing. The Bergen keeps it clean — an off-white body with navy panels at the toe, heel and quarters, off-white laces, and a navy tread carrying the color right down to the ground. What lifts it is the detail. The eyelets sit hidden behind the upper apart from the top pair, left white and on show. Perforations across the toe let air move through and break up the panel. A soft light gray vegan suede patch sits at the back, and there's a gold-leaf WVS on the side and again on the tongue, with stitching worked around the tongue details. The outsole has a subtle WVS emboss underneath. First look, you don't see these details, but they come together to make a shoe with class. When you own them you see them — and you know you're wearing a pair of ethically made, high quality vegan sneakers by Will's Vegan Shoes.

The upper is cut from our signature Italian bio-based vegan leather made with 62–66% plant-origin materials, panelled with Italian navy vegan suede that gives a soft matte contrast against the smooth off-white. Step in and your foot sits in padding — the tongue is padded all the way down, and so is the collar and around the sides. Underneath there's a removable contoured sports insole shaped to follow your foot, with a breathable recycled polyester mesh lining keeping air moving around it.

They're built the way athletic shoes are built. Strobel construction stitches the upper directly onto a flexible fabric base, so there's no rigid board sitting between your foot and the ground, and the TR cupsole is bonded on around the sidewall. It's why they flex through the forefoot from the first step rather than needing breaking in, and why the pair comes in at 900g.

The low profile is what makes them so easy to place. They work under tailoring — gray flannel pants and a fine knit, where the navy and white brings some color and contrast to it. Dark denim and a plain t-shirt. Chinos with the hem turned once. Shorts in August.

Navy and white gets along with everything. That's the whole point of them.

This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.
Upper
Italian bio-based vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials) and Italian vegan suede (100% PU)
Lining
Breathable sports mesh lining in 100% recycled polyester (rPET) – an open mesh that keeps air moving to help feet stay cool and fresh
Insole
Removable contoured PU sports insole – shaped to follow your foot for cushioned, supportive comfort
Outsole
TR (thermoplastic rubber) cupsole with a grippy molded tread for traction and flex through the forefoot for comfortable walking. The tread is finished in navy to match the suede on the upper, tying the sole into the shoe rather than breaking it up — and keeping the part that meets the ground looking clean for longer.
Laces
Long, extra-strong laces (100% recycled polyester), with metal lace tips (100% zamak — a durable zinc alloy)
Shank
No shank – the cushioned midsole provides the structure and support, keeping the shoe light and flexible the way a sneaker should be
Hardware
Hidden metal eyelets that sit behind the vegan leather for a clean finish, with metal lace tips — both 100% zamak (a durable zinc alloy)
Construction
Strobel construction – the upper is stitched directly to a soft textile base, with the sole bonded underneath. With no rigid board or stiffeners inside, it flexes naturally with your foot and stays light underfoot

Made with Italian bio-based vegan leather containing 62–66% plant-origin renewable materials. Produced in Italy using modern water-based, non-solvent processes, combining a viscose backing with a next-generation bio-based polyurethane surface.
Vegan Suede Clean: For marks and stubborn stains, use warm soapy water with a cloth or soft brush, working gently over the surface. Towel dry afterwards. Brush: Once fully dry, run a suede brush over the uppers to lift the nap back up and restore the soft, even texture. Brushing in one direction gives the most consistent finish. Drying: Always let your footwear dry naturally, away from direct heat sources like radiators, as too much heat can stiffen or damage the suede. Stuff with paper or a shoe tree to help hold the shape while drying, and allow a day or two for the insides to dry fully before wearing again. Deodorizing: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, as this creates an environment where microbes can develop and cause smells. If a smell does develop, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodorizer until it clears. In extreme cases you can wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and apply the deodorizer again. Waterproofing (optional): If you'd like some added protection, you can treat the suede with a waterproofing spray every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard sprays work fine on vegan suede. This is optional, and bear in mind vegan suede is naturally an open-textured material that isn't designed to be water-resistant. Vegan Leather Clean: Wipe the uppers and outsoles with warm soapy water and a cloth or soft brush, then towel dry thoroughly. Polish: A synthetic polish can be used to bring back shine and refresh the color — any synthetic product should work fine, applied as described in its instructions. If your footwear has a burnished effect on the toes and sides (we apply a darker polish to some of our brown vegan leather uppers for effect), this is best reapplied by a cobbler, or at home using a darker shade of polish worked around the toes and sides. Drying: You can dry your footwear on top of or near a radiator or other heat source. Depending on the heat, it can take a few days to dry out the insides fully. Never put your footwear in the washing machine. Deodorizing: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, especially inside boots, as this can damage the water resistance and let microbes develop, causing a smell. If this happens, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodorizer until the smell stops. In extreme cases, wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and reapply the deodorizer. Waterproofing (optional): You can treat the uppers with a waterproofing spray to improve durability, stain resistance and water resistance. We recommend doing this every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard waterproofing sprays work fine on our vegan leather.

We've made this chart to help you choose the right size. You'll need your foot length measurement to get started. Once you've found your perfect fit with us, you can typically select the same size for all other models.

Fit and comfort notes:

  • Width and volume: our footwear is designed with a slightly wider D width fitting, offering more width and volume than most brands.
  • Materials: we use high quality vegan leather and suede. These materials are stable and won't stretch out significantly over time, so we recommend sizing up for comfort.
  • The perfect fit: you don't want the shoes to pinch your feet. You should have wiggle room for your toes and no rub points.
  • Feel: in most cases you'll find our footwear is comfy straight out of the box. Depending on the style or your foot shape, it can sometimes take a few wears for the uppers to soften and mold to your feet.

How to take your foot length measurement

  • Stand on a hard surface with your heel against a wall.
  • Measure your foot from the heel (the wall) to the longest point of your toes.
  • Use this number to find your size in the chart above.

It is helpful to measure both feet, as one foot is often slightly larger than the other. Always choose the size that accommodates your longest foot.
